I failed! Had to. Had to buy this plum sweater from Sportscraft.

It’s a perfect shape – flattering neckline, nicely cut around the waist and my (new) favourite colour, purple. It is absolutely perfect. Looks great with my blue jeans. A very flattering colour. I really can’t wear black anymore. So far, so justified.

The problem? One, it was 33 degrees yesterday in Sydney and I bought a jumper. Two, I went into David Jones even though I’m trying not to buy clothes this month. Not until it gets cold.

I think the solution is just not to go near the shops in the first place. The “I’ll just try it on” ruse is too dangerous.

Oh, and they had the sweater in mustard too. I did NOT buy it. That’s one good thing.
