As a general rule I don’t think tshirts with logos work if you are over 40. In this case it works because the lettering is quite subtle, plus the jacket half covers it up.

This coat is such a rich green and looks great with the stripes.

A great demonstration of how to minimise wide shoulders with a black, cropped jacket and long but not loose shirt underneath. Visually these items lengthen and break up the space.

I do love black with simple silver jewellery.

I love the colour contrasts – the black and blue and leopard (it’s a neutral!).
