Passing The Time

I’ve updated my list of Over 40 Style blogs.

Most of the traffic to Likes of Me is visiting this list. I’m glad other people find my list useful. There are so many sites out there that it is really hard to find the gems amongst them. It also means that some of my favourite websites get more visitors. Yay!

I feel kind of bad, though, because it is my list. I mean, I’ve just published the list I use myself in the hope that other people find it helpful. It’s not meant to be a competition or a judgement or anything. I mean, who am I? Nobody. It’s just that I am an analyst and I write things down. So even though there are other great websites, if they don’t suit my tastes, then I’m not going to add them to the list.

Sorry, but a bit not sorry.

I spent all day going through the list and checking out all the sites, and reordering them based upon which sites I’ve been visiting the most, and what sites are still active. The waste of the day reminded me of this quote from the Samuel Beckett play, Waiting for Godot:

VLADIMIR:     That passed the time.

ESTRAGON:   It would have passed in any case.

VLADIMIR:    Yes, but not so rapidly.

Waiting for Godot

I studied Godot in high school, and loved it. If ever there was a play for the teenage years.
