In Australia, things are opening up again as the COV-ID pandemic appears to be under control here.

I, however, am still pretty much in lockdown as I recover from chemo. It occurred to me today that my recovery is going to take longer than a week or two, and I need more hobbies.

I am sorely tempted to try embroidery.

What inspired me was seeing some embroidered sayings, such as these inspiring, cool, uplifting embroidery examples at My Modern Met.

I found some really nice beginner kits on Etsy.

Another option is this Hand Embroidery course at faimyxstitch.

A friend is doing crocheting but that seems like a lot more work.
