My rules for dresses are:

• Not dry-clean only
• Covers knees but not too long
• No spaghetti straps
• Conservative colour
• Not’ too cheap’ fabric
• Probably not black (am not a fan of the LBD).

The easiest solution for summer work outfits are dresses:

Ping Pong                                          Esprit                                 Bellabwear

Some examples of what I would not to wear to work:

• I think really pretty, floral patterns are a mistake. Too girly.
• As is anything too casual.
• Or too body conscious.

It is a uniform. You can’t fight it. Sometimes uniforms make life easy!
